Ask Assist to pull patient information from multiple apps.

Written by Adam Bragg

Start an AI Assist patient chat and pull information from multiple apps to seamlessly reconcile billing info, spot chart gaps, and more!

  1. Start a patient chat - Navigate to a patient's chart and click the green Assist button next to the patient's name in the top left corner of their chart

  2. Link patient profiles - Link this patient's profiles across software apps via the main Tabflows side tabs.

    • NOTE: Elation, Spruce, and Hint are the only apps currently available within Assist

  3. Check data timing - Hover over the software icon within the Assist chat to see when this data was most recently updated.

  4. Update app data - Click on the software icon to open this software app in the main screen and update the data pulled into Assist.

    • NOTE: The black notice will change to "Updated 0 min ago"

Ensure the patient's profiles across Elation, Spruce, and Hint are all linked to get the most comprehensive responses from Assist!

Try these sample prompts with a multi-app Assist patient chat:

Billing reconciliation
Compare the labs ordered for this patient in Elation to the labs invoiced to this patient in Hint. Identify any labs ordered that have not yet been billed. Summarize the total cost of unbilled labs and identify the next steps to resolve these invoices.

Chart record gaps

Compare this patient's Spruce conversation to their Elation chart. Identify any topics discussed in Spruce that have not been recorded in Elation. Suggest next steps for resolving any record gaps and, if relevant, create a summary of the Spruce conversation that can be copied & pasted into Elation for missing topics.

Summarize care

Summarize the care provided to this patient over the past 30 days. Include number of messages in Spruce, visits recorded in Elation, any other care provided as documented in Elation, and care provided that may be referenced in Hint. Callout the level of effort needed to care for this patient and identify anything that may be overwhelming our team. Note any missing data for this request and how to resolve these omissions.
