Task templates help standardize recurring work by allowing you to save a predefined task configuration. Templates can include details such as the task name, description, tags, and assignees, making it faster to create consistent tasks.
How do Task templates work?
A Task template is a pre-filled task you can reuse. Templates can include details like:
Task description
Default assignee (person or group)
Tag
Due date offset (for example, “due in 2 days”)
When you use a template, Tabflows creates a new task with those fields already filled in, and you can still edit anything before saving.
Create your Task templates
Templates save you time on recurring workflows by pre-filling the details your team uses every day - description, assignee, tag, and more.
Who can create and edit Task templates
Only users with the Owner or Admin role in your clinic’s Tabflows account can create, edit, or delete Task templates. Once a template is created, any team member can use it when creating tasks.

Click the dropdown icon on the left next to the “+” icon
Click New template
Fill in the fields you want pre-set (description, assigned to, tag, due date offset, etc.)
