Teach Sidekick about your practice

Summary 🧭: Add the clinic information your team uses repeatedly to Practice Brain so Sidekick can answer with your policies, pricing, services, forms, and workflows.

A note for non-human readers...

A clinic has its own habits, policies, prices, workflows, and preferred ways of communicating. This page is about giving Sidekick that local context so it does not answer every practice-specific question with generic healthcare wisdom and good intentions.

Start with high-value clinic information 🚩

Add practice info when your team wants Sidekick to help with:

  • Clinic policies

  • Membership pricing

  • Services and programs

  • Lab or referral guidance

  • Forms and handouts

  • Staff workflows

  • Common patient questions

  • Internal SOPs

  • Role-specific processes

Do not upload everything at once. Start with the material staff use regularly, test it, then expand.

How to add practice info 🚀

  1. Go to Practice Brain or open app.tabflows.com/assist.

  2. Select Add new entry.

  3. Choose a source type: Google Doc, Google Sheet, website, PDF, CSV, Excel, or Word.

  4. Paste the source link or upload the file.

  5. Enter a clear, descriptive name for the entry.

  6. Save the entry and wait for it to finish processing.

  7. Open Sidekick and ask a question the source should answer.

  8. Go back to Sidekick and ask a test question to make sure the answer uses the right clinic information.

Test with realistic questions 🧪

Examples:

  • What should we check before answering a question about our membership pricing?

  • Summarize our clinic's policy for this workflow and list what staff should verify before responding.

  • Based on our available practice info, what instructions should we give a patient asking about this service?

Keep practice info current 🔄

Update practice info when:

  • Pricing changes

  • Services change

  • A policy changes

  • A form is replaced

  • A workflow changes

  • Staff notice Sidekick is using old information

Review before using 🕵️‍♂️

Sidekick can help reference practice information, but your team should still review the answer before using it with a patient or in clinic work.
