A saved prompt is a reusable way of asking Sidekick for a familiar kind of help. Save the pattern, not assumptions about today’s context. The patient, file, Task, or clinic information available next time may be different even when the words of the prompt are identical.

Quick checks ⚡
Make the prompt reusable.
Remove details that apply to only one patient.
Give it one clear job.
State the output, tone, and format clearly.
When to create a saved prompt 🎯
Create a saved prompt if you often ask Sidekick to do the same thing, such as:
Write a patient follow-up message
Summarize a visit note
Create a checklist or task list
Rewrite a message in your clinic's tone
Use a specific format for a recurring workflow
How to create a saved prompt 🚀
Open Sidekick in the sidebar
Go to More saved prompts
Select New prompt
Add a clear title for the prompt
Write the instructions you want Sidekick to follow
Click Save prompt
Use it when you want Sidekick to follow those same instructions again
What to include 🗂️
A good saved prompt should be clear and reusable. Include what you want Sidekick to create, how it should sound, and any format you want it to follow.
Example 📖: Write a brief follow-up message for a patient after a visit. Keep it warm, clear, and easy to scan. Include next steps if they were discussed.
Avoid adding details that only apply to one patient or one situation, unless you plan to update the prompt before using it again.
Confirm it worked
The saved prompt appears in your prompt list and fills the Sidekick text box when selected.
