Summary 🧭: Complete a Task after the assigned work and required checklist items are finished. Completion removes it from the normal open-work view while preserving it as completed work.

“Complete” should mean the work is actually complete, not “we did our part and now hope someone remembers the rest.” If the outcome still depends on a patient, clinician, lab, system, or future date, keep a follow-up path alive until the real-world work is done.
Complete the task ✅
Open Tasks from the sidebar or side tabs.
Find the task in My Tasks or with status, patient, assignee, or due-date filters.
Review Description, Comments, and checklist items.
Use the completion checkbox or action.
Apply the completed Status filter if you want to confirm the result.

“We’re done on our side” can be perfectly true while the actual outcome is still waiting on somebody else. Mark the Task complete when the work represented by the Task is truly complete; otherwise give the unfinished part a visible way back.

Good to know 💡: Keep the main Task open when required checklist items remain. If the work becomes active again, reopen the existing Task instead of creating a confusing duplicate.
