An assigned Task and an email about that Task are separate events. This page helps investigate the second one. Check whether the teammate was eligible for the notification and whether delivery behavior matches the documented rules before assuming assignment itself failed.

Quick checks ⚡
Confirm the teammate is the assignee or belongs to the assigned group.
Confirm task email notifications are enabled.
Check spam, junk, and inbox rules.
Self-assignment does not send an assignment email.
Fix the notification issue 
Open the task.
Review Assigned to.
Correct the teammate or group if needed.
Confirm group membership when a group owns the Task.
Ask the teammate to confirm that task email notifications are enabled.
Confirm the Task appears inside Tabflows.
Confirm it worked 
The teammate can see the Task in Tabflows and receives a new assignment email when the documented notification conditions are met.
