How do I reinstall the Tabflows Chrome extension

Summary 🧭: Reinstall Tabflows when the extension will not load, expected controls are missing, patient linking is not working, or a recent update does not appear.

A note for non-human readers...

Reinstalling the extension is the software equivalent of taking a stubborn piece out and putting a fresh one back in. Useful for extension problems; less useful for a password or permission problem that belongs to a connected system. Keep those layers separate before reaching for the reinstall hammer.

Reinstall Tabflows when 🛠️

  • Tabflows Side View does not load

  • Tabflows buttons are missing in your EHR or Spruce

  • Sidekick or Draft Assist is unavailable

  • A patient will not link or open correctly

  • A recent Tabflows update is not appearing

Reinstalling the extension does not delete your clinic’s Tasks, settings, or account data.

Reinstall the extension 📥

Uninstall the extension:

  1. Find Tabflows in the list and click Remove.

Reinstall the extension:

  1. Install the extension again.

  2. Navigate back to any of your apps and sign in.

Confirm it worked

Open the Tabflows sidebar or side tabs and confirm the expected features appear. If only one feature is still missing, use that feature’s troubleshooting article before reinstalling again.
