Use the action detail as the source for what that specific Tabflows action is documented to do. Do not extend the description into capabilities, partner behavior, permissions, or execution states the detail does not establish. A described action is not evidence that the action has already run.
Open the detail view
Open Settings (⚙️) at the bottom of the Tabflows sidebar.
Select Clinic Settings.
Open app.tabflows.com when prompted.
Go to Marketplace in the side menu.
Find the action you want to learn about (use the category filters or search bar to narrow the list).
Click the action card.
The action detail dialog opens, showing the full information for that action.
To close the detail view, click the X button in the top-right corner or click outside the dialog.
What the detail view shows
The action detail view is organized into several sections:
System and category
At the top, a bar shows the system the action connects to (for example, Hint, Elation, Spruce, or Tabflows) with the system icon, and the action category (Billing, Care, Communication, Documentation, or Workflow) as a colored badge. An Enabled label confirms the action is currently active.
Description
A paragraph explaining what the action does and when it is useful. For example, an action called Review a patient page might explain that it opens the patient record so a clinician can review recent visits, lab results, and care history.
Required information
A list of what Tabflows needs before it can suggest this action. Common requirements include:
Patient name or ID
A connected account in the relevant system (for example, Connected Hint account)
A document template (for document generation actions)
A task title and assigned team member (for workflow actions)
If the required information is not available, Tabflows will not suggest the action for that situation.
Behavior
Behavior indicators tell you two things about each action:
Whether approval is required: Some actions (such as creating a charge or drafting a message) require a team member to review before submission. Others (such as opening a patient page for review) do not require approval because they are read-only.
Whether the action has write access: Actions that create, modify, or generate records are marked with Write access. Actions that only navigate to a page for review are marked with Read-only.
These indicators help your team understand what each action will do before it runs.
Usage
Two usage counters show how frequently the action has been triggered:
Triggers this week: The number of times this action was triggered in the current week.
Triggers this month: The number of times this action was triggered in the current month.
Current actions
Marketplace currently includes these enabled actions:

Generate documents (Tabflows, Documentation): Generates formatted Word or PDF documents using patient data and clinic branding.
Manage tasks (Tabflows, Workflow): Creates a new task in Tabflows assigned to a specific team member.
