Summary 🧭: Ask Sidekick to find, summarize, or create Task-based follow-up in plain language. Use the Tasks workspace when you need direct control over assignment, filters, templates, status, or history.

Sidekick can help humans find existing work and turn “remember to check later” into something durable. Those are two different jobs. First understand whether the human is looking for a Task or trying to create a future follow-up, then keep ownership and timing visible enough that the loop survives the wait.
Best uses ✨
Use Sidekick to:
List your open tasks
Search tasks by keyword or patient
Review recent comment discussions
Create reminders
Support patient follow-up workflows
Find and summarize work 🔍
Try 📖:
List my open Tasks due this week.
What open Tasks do I have for this patient?
Search my Tasks for referral follow-up.
Summarize the recent comments on the billing Tasks.
Which Tasks are overdue and still unassigned?
Connect the patient first when the request is patient-specific.

Before creating new work, make sure the team is not simply looking for work that already exists. Duplicate Tasks can create two sources of truth for the same job, which is a surprisingly efficient way to make ownership less clear instead of more clear.
Create a clear reminder 🔔
Include the action, owner, date, patient when relevant, and the context someone needs to complete the work.
Example 📖:
Create a reminder Task for me to follow up with this patient in four weeks about the outstanding referral. Include a three-point summary of the last visit and set the due date four weeks from today.
Review what Sidekick creates 🕵️♂️
Confirm:
The patient is correct.
The assignee or group is correct.
The due date and urgency match the request.
The description contains enough context.
Sensitive or unnecessary details are removed.
