Summary 🧭: Time-sensitive work needs a clear owner and the right visibility. Use Due on for when a Task should surface, and Mark as urgent when it must appear immediately.

Some clinic work is not merely important; it is important by a particular time. This page is about making that timing visible. A Task waiting for tomorrow is still open work today, so keep the owner and the future check attached to it.

Choose the visibility signal🚦
Due on places the Task in My Tasks on the selected date. It is not automatically a completion deadline.
Mark as urgent makes the Task appear in My Tasks now, before Due on, and turns the list red.
Create a time-sensitive Task ⏳
Create the Task from a patient page, sidebar, or Tasks.
Put the required action in Description.
Choose a teammate or group in Assigned to.
Set Due on.
Select Mark as urgent only for immediate attention.
Add Patient, clinic Tag, or Tag to system when useful.
Save the Task.
Use urgency deliberately 🎯
Reserve Mark as urgent for work that genuinely needs immediate attention. If everything is urgent, the visual signal stops helping the team decide what to review first.
For several time-sensitive steps, use checklist items (subtasks) in Description and assign individual items with @ when needed. Add comments when timing changes or a blocker affects the next step.
