An @ mention is the digital equivalent of tapping a human on the shoulder inside a Task. It gets attention; it does not automatically transfer ownership. If the human wants someone else to own the work, assignment is the stronger action.
Mention a teammate 📢
Open the task and go to Comments.
Type @ followed by the teammate's name.
Add the question or context they need.
Choose Save Task.
The teammate is notified, but the task remains with its current Assigned to value. In a checklist item (subtask), an @ mention assigns only that item.
