Mobile Sidekick is still Sidekick. The screen is smaller; the laws of context and authority did not shrink with it. Use the patient, file, Practice Brain, Task, and other context actually available, then verify consequential details before turning an answer into action.
Ask your first question 💬
Open Sidekick on your phone.
Decide whether the question is about a specific patient.
If it is, search for and select the correct patient.
Type your question in the Ask anything field, or use the microphone to dictate it.
Tap Send.
Review the response and ask a follow-up if anything is missing.
Questions that do not need a patient
You can ask Sidekick about clinic work without selecting a patient.
Try:
What is our cancellation policy?
Find our pricing for common lab tests.
List my open Tasks.
Create a reminder for me to follow up tomorrow.
Turn this note into a concise staff handoff.
Patient-specific questions
Select the patient first, then try:
Summarize the most important updates in this patient's chart.
Prepare a concise visit-prep note.
Show me the available files for this patient.
Draft a patient-friendly explanation of these results.
What follow-up items should I review?
Keep prompts simple ✍️
Most good prompts need three things:
Action: summarize, find, compare, draft, or create.
Context: this patient, our policy, my Tasks, or the attached file.
Output: five bullets, a short handoff, patient-friendly language, or a dated reminder.
Example 📖: Summarize the attached document in five bullets and list anything that needs clinician review.
Use follow-up questions
You do not need to repeat the full request. Continue the same conversation with a narrow follow-up:
Focus only on the last six months.
Show the source for each item.
Make this shorter.
Rewrite this for a patient.
What is still uncertain?
Good to know 💡: Sidekick may also offer follow-up suggestions after an answer. Tap one to continue the conversation.
Important ⚠️: Sidekick supports your work. It does not replace clinical judgment, source verification, or your final review.
