Voice is a faster way to write a prompt, not a new source of truth. Phones occasionally hear creative versions of names, medications, numbers, and medical vocabulary, so review the transcript when those details matter before sending it to Sidekick.
Use voice input 🎙️
Open Sidekick on your phone.
Tap the microphone beside the Send button.
If prompted, allow Tabflows to use your microphone.
Speak your question or instruction.
Stop the recording when you are finished.
Review the transcript in the prompt box.
Correct any names, dates, medications, or clinical terms.
Tap Send.
Good to know 💡: Voice input fills the prompt for you. You still decide when to send it.
Recording limits ⏱️
Sidekick warns you after three minutes of voice input and stops the recording after five minutes.
For clearer results, dictate one focused request at a time rather than one long recording.
Tips for better transcription
Move away from background noise.
Speak clearly and at a steady pace.
Say patient names, medication names, and dates carefully.
Review the transcript before sending.
Break a complex request into several shorter prompts.
If microphone permission is blocked
Your browser controls microphone access.
Try:
Open the browser's site settings for Tabflows.
Set Microphone to Allow.
Reload Sidekick.
Tap the microphone again.
If your browser does not support microphone input, type the prompt instead or try an up-to-date mobile browser.
If voice input cannot connect
Check your internet connection and try again. If the problem continues:
Reload Sidekick.
Confirm microphone access is still allowed.
Close another app that may be using the microphone.
Type the prompt so your work can continue.
Important ⚠️: Always review the transcript before sending. Voice transcription can mishear names, numbers, medication terms, and dates.
