Summary 🧭 : If your practice uses VistaScripts, ask Sidekick to read your Vista Pay orders - which are open, unpaid, ready to submit, scheduled, or shipped - and it returns the list from your signed-in session. Reading orders is view-only: Sidekick never submits, edits, cancels, reschedules, or ships an order
Before you start
Use desktop Chrome with the Tabflows extension running and connected.
Sign in to VistaScripts / Vista Pay in the same browser.
Have a patient or order in mind if you want to narrow the list.
Ask Sidekick to read your orders
Open Sidekick on desktop.
Ask for the view you want
Review the list Sidekick returns.
Example 📖:
"which Vista orders are open?"
"show unpaid Vista Pay orders."
You can ask for any of these views: open, unpaid, ready to submit, scheduled, shipped, or all (newest first). You can also search by patient or order, and ask for a shorter list if you only need the most recent.
What each order shows
For each order, Sidekick reads the:
order number
the prescription ID
the created date and time (shown in UTC)
the patient and location
the provider and practice
the fulfillment pharmacy
and the order's primary status with its secondary status line.
It also reports the total number of orders in that view and whether the list was shortened.
If the list looks incomplete
If Sidekick says the list was shortened (truncated), narrow it: pick a specific status, search by patient or order, or ask for a shorter list - then rely on the narrowed result.
What this changes
Nothing. Vista Pay access is read-only. Sidekick cannot submit, edit, cancel, reschedule, or ship an order - it only reads the orders list when you ask.
If Sidekick can't read your orders
Make sure you are on desktop with the Tabflows Chrome extension connected and signed in to VistaScripts / Vista Pay, then ask again.
