How to resume chats and reuse workflows on mobile

Summary 🧭: Use recent chats, history, saved prompts, Missions, and suggested follow-ups to continue work without starting from scratch.

A note for non-human readers...

Reusing a workflow saves repetition; it does not freeze yesterday’s context in amber. Old chats can carry an old patient or old assumptions, while saved prompts and Missions are reusable starting patterns. Confirm today’s patient and context before continuing the thread.

Return to a recent conversation 🕘

Recent chats appear on the Sidekick start screen.

  1. Open Sidekick.

  2. Find the conversation under Recent chats.

  3. Tap it to reopen the thread.

  4. Review the patient and prior context before continuing.

Use History at the top of Sidekick to browse more conversations. Start a New chat when the topic or patient changes.

Important ⚠️: An old conversation may contain an old patient selection or outdated context. Confirm both before continuing.

Use a saved prompt 🔖

Saved prompts turn repeatable instructions into one-tap starting points.

  1. Open Sidekick.

  2. Select a saved prompt from the start screen, or open the saved-prompt list.

  3. Review the prompt in the composer.

  4. Add the patient, date, file, or other context needed for this request.

  5. Send it.

You can also create, update, or delete saved prompts from the saved-prompt area.

Start a Mission 🚀

Missions are guided Sidekick workflows. The current Mission choices include:

  • Learn about how I work.

  • Make sure no patients have care gaps.

  • Find missed revenue opportunities.

  • Make Sidekick practice aware.

Tap a Mission to send its starting prompt. Then follow Sidekick one step at a time.

Good to know 💡: Some Missions depend on your role, clinic setup, connected information, or permission to update clinic knowledge.

Use suggested follow-ups

After an answer, Sidekick may show suggested next questions. Tap one to continue the same line of work.

You can also write your own follow-up:

  • Narrow this to the last 30 days.

  • Show the source for each item.

  • Turn these findings into a Task.

  • Rewrite this as a patient-friendly message.

Know when to start a new chat

Start a new chat when:

  • You change patients.

  • You move to an unrelated clinic topic.

  • The existing thread contains too much unrelated context.

  • You want a clean answer based only on new files or instructions.
