Summary 🧭: Tabflows can find and open patients in VistaScripts, Astrana, and SimplePractice. VistaScripts can also prepare patient and provider fields on a new order. None of these three systems currently supplies chart data to Sidekick.
Tabflows support can mean different things:
Find and link — the extension recognizes the patient page and connects it to Tabflows.
Navigate — Tabflows can open the linked patient or member in the connected system.
Read chart data — Sidekick can use patient information from that system in an answer.
Take actions — Tabflows can prepare or write information inside the system.
VistaScripts (Script Payments)
VistaScripts is the Script Payments compounding-pharmacy platform at app.vistascripts.com.
The Tabflows extension recognizes supported VistaScripts patient, prescription, and new-order pages. Selecting a linked patient opens the VistaScripts New Order form and selects the existing patient. When available, Tabflows also selects the assigned provider.
If VistaScripts does not already contain the patient, Tabflows can fill the new-patient name, gender, and date of birth from the selected Tabflows patient.
Important ⚠️: Tabflows prepares the form. It does not submit the order. Confirm the patient, provider, medication, directions, quantity, shipping details, and every other field in VistaScripts before submitting.
VistaScripts is not currently a Sidekick chart-data source. Sidekick does not read VistaScripts prescription or fulfillment history as general patient context.
Astrana Health
The Tabflows extension recognizes supported member pages in the Astrana Health provider portal, links the member to Tabflows, and can navigate back to the linked member.
Astrana member search needs a date of birth as well as a name. If several members match, Tabflows leaves the choice to you. When active and terminated enrollments conflict, Tabflows uses the active enrollment when it can identify one safely.
Astrana is not currently a Sidekick chart-data source, and no Astrana write actions are documented.
SimplePractice
The Tabflows extension recognizes supported SimplePractice client pages, links the client to Tabflows, opens the Tabflows side view, and can navigate to a linked client through SimplePractice search.
SimplePractice is not currently a Sidekick chart-data source, and no SimplePractice write actions are documented.
If a patient or member is not detected 🔍
Confirm the Tabflows Chrome extension is running.
Sign in to the connected system in the same browser.
Open a supported patient or member page.
Confirm the patient’s name and date of birth before linking.
If several results appear, choose the correct record manually. Never force an uncertain match.
